Evaluation
The comprehensive O.T. evaluation process begins with information gathering through parent interview and questionnaires. Next, an in-person assessment is conducted in the home and school/daycare settings which includes clinical observations, investigation of sensory integration and neuromuscular status, and formal, standardized assessments delivered in a playful manner. All data collected will be synthesized into a written report that outlines your child's strengths, areas of need, and recommendations. At the conclusion of the report, we meet for a 45-minute consultation to discuss the evaluation results, address any questions you have, and develop a plan for moving forward to address child and family goals.
